Over the past few weeks, Pastor Tom has been announcing the beginning of diads and triads. We’ve gotten a lot of questions about what these are, so I wanted to explain them and encourage you to get involved.
Diads and triads are simply groups of two or three people. During lent, while our church cancels all other events, we will be having small groups of two or three people meeting together to encourage each other, talk about life, and pray for each other. These would be a little like mentoring relationships where people could learn and grow from each other. Hopefully, we can match younger people with older people who can discuss life issues with wise, life experience. They will be meeting through lent, during the Sunday School hour (Sunday School will be canceled during Lent).
I would HIGHLY encourage all Youth Group and KFC members to sign up for a diad or triad. If you would like to be in one, please contact me (Pastor Ben) by Tuesday, January 22nd.
